ok here's a car my mother bought brand new,car was fitted with a `68 307/powerglide about a decade ago that has 65 thousand original miles(wrecked Biscayne 4 door donor`granny car'),,and that's basically the story!,car has sat,sat and sat some more!,i drove it here from town after the 307 install on a trip permit,body has rust around the rr glass windsheild, lower qtr panels,trunk floor,under the battery box,and probably the floorboards as well,car needs restored!,has the orig owners manual with protecto plate(with moms name on it!) and was orig fitted with a 275 horse 327 and a turbo 400,has 3.08 posi rear(12 bolt?),console with racing stripe shifter and pearl white interior,glass is good,front end came off another old Biscayne and has been repainted a couple times then primed,body itself is orig paint and had a black vynyl top (sigh),i'm offering this because the car needs a life,my reserve may seem high but it's history can be documented and it will run and drive with a days work i'm sure(needs battery,fresh gas etc),,read my other listing i'm pretty much tied down thru saturday after that i'll spend all the time you need on it,,,,,,,,,,have fun!On Aug-14-10 at 18:19:12 PDT, seller added the following information: ok,still stuck on my dayjob here but i founf the manual and a pile of dealer paperwork that came with her new,the`Chevrolet New Vehicle Inspection and Adjustment Schedule' sheet unfortunatly didn't make it in the pics(100F heat isn't effecting me AT ALL!)simply a checklist of lights wheel alingment carb adjustment etc.,,i guess i also have the manual from the Biscayne engine donor car(milage shown on Biscayne guage cluster) and i was wrong,mom bought the car june 22 `68 not in May,, ok i'll add to this later with pics of the car and body tag info>On Aug-16-10 at 21:39:03 PDT, seller added the following information: ok i'll be home here all day tomorrow,sorry about not getting pics up but i've been decompressing from my last(cash) project and family,home `issues' burried me today,so,,tomorrow i'll spend all day dealing with `Mom's Impala'=bring on the e-mails lets get-r-done!,,i'm going fishing for fall chinook if she sells or not by thursday(seasons are short and sweet,and they are IN),have a great evening!On Aug-24-10 at 15:50:10 PDT, seller added the following information: ok,added 2 pics of the door bottoms,the rust shown on corners is surface rust not thru at all
