This particular z3 is equipped with the 1.9 liter powerplant, which is ultra reliable and Excellent on Gas. It runs flawlessly and is still extremely tight all around. We have all previous service records on hand from the original owner, and just recently went over this convertible as well. Just had oil service/filter service done. All the belts and brakes seem to be recent and doesnt need anything. Exterior: The exterior is in overall excellent condition. The top is brand new as well is the rear window. There are no curb marks on any of the wheels, and tires have over 80% life left on them. The paint is in overall very good shape, but keep in mind that this is a 1997 so there should be normal rock chips to be expected on the front end. The front bumper had rock chips, so we had it refinished so it would give it a cleaner look. There is a small ding on the trunk lid, and does have some minor scratches on the rear bumper. It does have all the matching vin tags on all panels inidicating that the body is all original. It also comes with a tan tonneau cover, that gives it a better look when the top is down. Does have all tools in the toolbox along with the jack. Interior: The interior is still in phenomenal condition. With only 48k, the seats still look almost perfect. Very clean carpet, and the floor mats are brand new as well. The dash is in excellent shape, and all gauges work properly. Non-smoker car, and was very well kept. Cold A/C, and the heater is hot. Radio works perfectly. Mechanically: I would rate this z3 as rock solid. The front end still feels tight and there are no abnormal shakes or noises. All service is up to date. Tires are around 80%, and brakes are also around 80%. Alignment is perfectly straight. Engine is smooth, and has no warning lights on the dash. Transmission still shifts smooth. Top is new, and is manual, so there is no need to worry about the top motor going bad. Its easy to put up and down, and does not have any leaks. Battery was tested and is in excellent shape. All lights/signals/horns works, and just passed NC state inspection. Overall a very nice solid z3 which was well kept. Please ask all questions prior to bidding as i realize there is a lot that can be left out when describing a car. Please make all inspections and test drives prior to bidding on this z3. There is a 200.00 dealer fee on vehicle sales, and NC residents are required to pay 3% NC taxes along with registration fees. 1000.00 deposit is due at the end of auction.
