Up for bid is a 1956 Chevrolet 210 4 door sedan in Tropical Turquoise 235 6 cylinder 3 speed manual transmission. Let me begin by saying that I am selling this for a friend. This car came to my shop with the request to get it ready to be a daily driver. The following was done to the car: new master cylinder, all new wheel cylinders, machine brake drums, new brake hoses, new tires, new exhaust, Pertronix distributor module, new vacuum advance, rebuilt carburetor, new headlight bulbs, removed intake/exhaust manifolds and resurfaced and replaced gaskets, changed all fluids. All this work was done only 5 months ago. This car runs and drives great, stops well, and has good power for a 6 cylinder. The owner has since decided not to keep the car and asked me to help him sell it. This is a good driver and as the pictures show, still needs a lot of cosmetic work. Car has had a quick paint job at some point in time and it looks good from about 15 feet or so. I did not see the car before it was painted, so I cannot comment on what condition the body was in. It does appear to have had some body work done, though. Door panels have been removed, but are included in with the car and have the stainless trim intact. If you are looking for a cool old car to drive and tinker with, this would certainly be one to consider. The price is right.
