Vehicle Detail
1981 CJ7 with clear TN title in hand History: I bought from a guy that drove back and forth from school, then just had it in a garage for almost 2 yrs. Jeep hasn't seen mud in a long time. Chevy 327 engine, believed to be out of a 69 Monte Carlo that the previous owner had rebuilt. Cranks up quick and on the first time. 4 speed jeep manual tranny Power brakes, Power steering 4wd low, high, and 2wd Engine block has been freshly cleaned and painted. Chrome Edelbrock air cleaner and chrome valve covers. I had the manifolds painted and cured to prevent rust Dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers, does have an exhaust leak. New Edelbrock carb 600 with electric choke (needs alittle tuning) I put an aftermarket high rise carb spacer on, I think it might be causing the tuning issue. It cranks fine and runs fine but has a hesitation when you go from idle to wide open throttle. I don't thinks it's a big deal, just trying to describe this jeep as best as best as possible. I just had a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing installed, as well as retainer for shifter. New front suspension plates, tie rod connector, and U bolts and pitman arm New fuel hose, fuel filter, battery cables and quick release connectors has about 4" suspension lift and about 3" body lift 35" tires mounted on black wheels all in great shape Just had front end alignment Full padded Roll cage with custom built upper console to hold radio Newer Bestop soft top and doors Newer Bestop high back front seats Newer Driveshaft The floor pans have been replaced Restored dash pad New spark plugs, wires, insulation for wires, and dist cap Rear seat needs to be recovered Front and rear chrome tube bumpers Ramsey winch included, mounts on front bumper, just took off for paint New exterior paint and body work. Had some body rust, it was sanded out, body filled in and painted. It is painted flat (hot rod) black, it is not perfect but looks really good from 5-10 ft. The area around the windshield and hood (pictured) still look alittle rough, wasn't sanded down smooth enough. I believe everything is there for the heater but know it doesn't have the vent hose conecting it. There is a small leak either at the valve covers or at the back of the intake manifold around the distributor. When I come back from a ride I wipe a small amount of oil off the block. Has aftermarket gauges, however the temp gauge does not read correctly and the gas gauge is kinda funny. Also after I get back from a ride there is alittle oil around bell housing and oil pan. Its either a main seal or oil pan gasket? This is a very solid 29 yr old Jeep. It's not a show Jeep, it has the potential to be, but a very nice driver that just needs alittle work. I like working on stuff, I bought this with the intentions of making it a "show" jeep, I did clean it up quite a bit, but currently have too many other projects going on. I have put less than 100 miles on it this summer. Mainly down the road a few miles to a friend's house and back. I have a Carfax available Please do not waste my time or money by bidding if you do not have the CASH now. $500.00 immediate paypal deposit (non refundable) The rest to be paid in cash within 5 days Pick up only.
