Why are we selling it ? This was our very reliable family vehicle for many years, and now that our kids are all in college we are driving our other smaller cars for around town and to work. We recently moved back to Houston from Philadelphia and because this car was hardly driven we haven't had it registered in Texas, but it was fully inspected and registered in PA when we left. Although we like having the large SUV with 3rd row seating for the occasion when family is in town we decided it doesn't make sense to keep it and maintain insurance on it for the few times it is driven. Now that we have three kids in college we are looking to keep our expenses down and could use the money from the sale toward tuition. If you would like to have the utility of a van, with the look and towing capacity of a truck this is the vehicle that you need to have. This vehicle has a great look, better than most any other Suburban you will see on the road. This is a unique Suburban that will look good in your driveway or on the road. The Highlights: * 10 Disk CD Changer * 4WD - 5.7 Vortec Engine * Both front seats are power with built in heaters. * Large 260/70/17 Tires on 17" Rims all the way around, Tires still have many miles left on them * Fender Flares, just to large enough to give it a nice appearance * Front Cattleguard with working fog lights * 3rd Row Seating, it is easy to get in and out for extra storage in back. * The 99 Suburban has an extra large cargo area, we could fit 4x8 sheets of plywood or sheet rock in it and close the doors. * Spare Tire is in like new condition. * Rear Tail Light Brush Guards, we had taken them off to replace the rear tail lights and just didn't put them back on. * Overhead and Center Console * Rear View Mirror has outside temperature and compass built-in * Front and Rear A/C with separate rear a/c controls * Towing package * Clear Title in Hand. Carfax shows a possible lien, this was the original loan on the vehicle which is paid off many years ago. There are no liens on this vehicle. Recent service work: * Regular oil changes * Replaced A/C manifold assembly (2 years) * Replaced Drive Shaft (6 months) * Transmission only has 120,000 miles on it * Replaced distributor (4 months) * Replaced Catalytic Converter (1 year ago) The areas that need work: * The check engine light is on it has the following codes: + P420 and P430: Catalyst efficiency is low. The solutions may be either replacing O2 sensors or replace catalytic converters + P1870. Transmission is slipping. The solution may be replace torque converter or converter clutch valve. The truck has been driven for the last year with these codes with no drive-ability issues. + We have a OBDII Code Reader, you are welcome to check the codes upon inspection of the vehicle. * The A/C is not working, the compressor and dryer will need to be replaced then the system re-charged. * The Nerf Bars on both sides are rusty, but should be usable for a while * The passenger side window motor or switch is not working * The Front Driver's Seat Leather needs to be replaced or use as is, mostly cosmetic * The Front Passenger Seat Leather is cracked but could be used for a while. * The Driver's Side Sun/Wind Guard (the black thing on the window) is cracked * Small hole in the carpet underneath the gas pedal. * The interior hood unlatching mechanism, plastic piece is missing, it still works just have to pull on the chord instead of the plastic. Please, note I have done everything I can to accurately document the condition of this vehicle. Anything we have not described should be considered typical wear for a vehicle of this age.
