Vehicle Detail

Circumstances related to age, health, and economic reasons, are prompting the sale of our pet project 1990 Corvette coupe. Car frame, body, engine, and drive train are in EXCELLANT like new original condition. This car has always been garaged, and never driven in adverse weather conditions. Motor runs strong and has excellant compression. Paint is 9 of 10, with only a couple of minor (nearly undetectable) chips and scratches. Interior is 8 of 10, with minor wear and very small rips in the leather seats and carpeting (driver side). Front tires are 8 of 10, rear tires 4 of 10. Car comes with every conceivable option, too numerous to mention. Everything appears to work, and work well. Car also comes with 2 tops, hardtop as pictured (could use new weatherstripping) + glasstop (stored behind seats). Heavy duty indoor & outdoor car cover in good condition is also included (has one small rip). Rear wing and ZR1 wheels were added several years ago. This corvette is a real head turner, no matter where parked or driven. It's not perfect, but you will not be disappointed. Being a Callaway corvette fan and follower for many years, led us to explore a perhaps better and certainly more affordable alternative to the pricey B2K corvette option of the late 1980's and early 1990's. This was a $25-30,000.00 add on back in the day. This car was purchased nearly 5 years ago, with the sole intent to convert into a twin turbo unit that could compete with and hopefully outperform the actual Callaway version. Other than the 2 Garrett turbo's, all obtainable Callaway and other after market performance parts are NEW. All performance parts were purchased over a 2 year period, and include both off the shelf and manufactured items made almost exclusively of either stainless steel or anodized aluminum ( includes hardware). Other than adding coolant and finishing wiring, the challenging technology advanced LIQUID intercooling system (as pictured) was successfully completed within the last year. With the exception of turbo oil and coolant lines and fittings + some misc. hardware, all other component parts required to complete this project are being provided with the car sale. They include : (A) complete Borla all S.S. dual exhaust system. (B) 2-all S.S. cat. converters. (C) 2-all S.S. turbo headers. (D) 2-slightly used Garrett TBO 363 turbos. (E) 1-heavy duty Aluminum finned oil pan + 1-heavy duty Aluminum finned transmission pan. (F) 8-Lucas 42 lb. injectors. (G) complete Melling MV55 oil pump. (H) MSD 2225 fuel pump. (I) all S.S. turbo oil evac. & return pump + catch can + cast alum. oil filter adapter. (J) SFC Hyper R fuel controller (ECU). (K) SUN boost gauge. (L) Hypertech & ADS chips. These items are all pictured above. Items not pictured that buyer will receive are : (1) heavy duty car cover. (2) extra oil cooler. (3) 3:07 rear end (gears and pumpkin complete). Some minor alterations and additional hardware may be required to complete the project. We will gladly be available to advise and assist in any way necessary, in order for buyer to successfully complete the twin turbo project. Car has a past due registration, but is completely driveable. Potential buyers may view and test drive car by emailing, or calling for an appointment at (315)762-4305. Car is located in Sylvan Beach, New York (east end of Oneida Lake). Winning bidder will be expected to pay $1000.00 downpayment within 48 hrs. of auction close, remaining balance within 7 days. Winning bidder is responsible for vehicle transport and removal. NOTE: After 2 unsuccessful auctions yielding no where near the reserve price anticipated, we have decided to list a realistic set price with a best offer option. We realize what the economic and market conditions present for the potential buyer, as well our need to get this car sold. That said, we will entertain any REASONABLE offer made in order to bring this sale to a successful conclusion.
