literally a Fresh Barn Find. Here I have a nice 1950 pickup. This one is nicer than others I have seen first because of the lack of rust, even the cab corners are not rusted through. Second thing that sets it apart is every thing is there all the major parts are there and most likely original. I ran the vin number on the motor and it looks to be from a 1950 chevy truck so most likely it is the original motor. That means this thing could be worth a ton once done. I am thinking the transmission is the same original but I have not confirmed that. I was told the CAW valve cover is worth 300.00 by its self.( it is an original 1950 hot rod part) There is an old hot rod shop down by my storage unit and the guy that runs it said he thought the truck was worth around 2000.00. I cant afford to keep it down there and I have no place to store it. I hate to see it parted out, So here it is offered to you at no reserve. Start that father son rest or retirement project. I have a good front fender, a strait grill, a good rear fender and two front inner fenders and a trim piece That goes below the front bumper. The truck could use the fenders front and rear. the inner fenders on the truck are in great shape so though I would leave. I will let these parts go with the truck if the buy it now price is met. Other wise I will sell them for extra 300.00 buck. If you have looked for parts for these truck you know that is a deal. The guy who I bought the truck from told me he had the truck running two years ago. He said it ran good but could have used a tune up. I know the truck will need one spark plug and a spark plug wire, and battery to turn over.I am sure the carb will need to be cleaned, The fuel tank has been cleaned so it is ready. The motor turns over free by hand. I am not sure how much other work the truck will need to get it on the road. I know the breaks dont work, and it needs some muffler work. Like I said this is a project but everything is there so you have a good start. The truck will need to be trailer home. Please ask any questions I will respond as soon as I can.
