1955 Chevrolet short bed 3100 series truck chassis (truck is not up for auction). This chassis is 100% untouched, uncut & original with the exception of the rear which is from a 66 Chevelle with 3:73 gear set & posi unit & the front brakes have been converted to disc. The front end is original straight axle with new king pins installed & rear suspension is original leaf springs. This truck has been in our family for 25+ years & kept in a climate controlled garage. The truck was originally from Arizona & i have a copy of the title to prove this. The chassis has "ZERO" & I mean "ZERO RUST ISSUES" & all that is needed to clean it up would be a wire wheel or prime & paint it to take it to the next level. The chassis has never been wrecked or damaged & is square & true as I have measured corner to corner & it is within 1/16" of an inch from side to side. The wheels & tires are also included & are from a camaro. The tires are in good shape & have good tread. This is a perfect set up for a swap over or a project to work on while you drive yours. You will not find a nicer chassis if you are looking with "NO RUST". I have finally found time & money to start my project & have purchased a custom chassis for my truck which is the only reason for parting with this one. The chassis "does not" include the title.
