Vehicle Detail
Hello, you are bidding on two blazers. One as you can see is in pieces and was in the begining stages of being put together as a show truck. The other was a daily driver till my father in law bought a new car about 5 months ago. It still runs and drives but not that well and has developed a small gas leak in one of the lines since it has been sitting. The black blazer I bought in 1999 for $11,000 with 82,000 miles on it. I drove it very little for about 2 years. My friend borrowed it and went off the road getting on a on ramp and ran over a small road sign that dented the bumper, cracked the grill, bent the grill and core support. The blazer was driven home, no major damage at all was done. Thats when I took the blazer apart and started to build it the way I wanted it to be. I hade the frame sandblasted and painted. I had the seats redone in black and grey tweed with blazer embroidered on them. I had previously taken the whole interior out of the blazer while I was still driving it and dyno-matted the whole inside and flex stone painted the interior black with white speck and grey with black speck. Some of the paint has flaked off and needs touched up (paint is still avaliable @ walmart). The seats have never been sat in since being redone. I have gathered alot of parts to put the blazer back together, new core support, hood, bumper and of course the 2nd blazer. The motor and trans were taken to be rebuilt but never had the money to get them done. I have all the parts to the motor still except the block and heads. The trans was torn down and we ended up using the parts in other transmissions (my dad owns a transmission rebuilding shop). I do still have the transfer case and it is complete. I have a whole shelf of parts and bolts and brackets and inner fenders and fenders and computer and wiring and radiator and exhaust parts and new fuel lines and whatever else i gathered or pulled off of it that is included with auction but is not pictured. I also have a energy suspension body mount kit new in the box for when the body gets bolted back on (its just sitting on the frame now). The body of the Blazer is very solid and has no rust anywhere. Rear end was rebuilt right after I got it at my dads transmission shop. The blazer had been in inside storage since 2001 untill Febuary of this year year. I would love to be able to keep this and work on it as a progect with my kids but do not have the room or money and can't bear to see it sit out side this winter. The second blazer has 185k miles on it. I found it with a bad motor and very clean body about 4 years ago. I had another 4.3 motor from a 96 s-10 that only had about 80k miles on it. I put new plugs, wires, water pump, intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets on it before I installed it on the blazer. My father in law drove it about 25 miles a day to work with little problems till about 8 months ago when a 02 sensor went bad and started making it run bad. We unpluged the sensor and got it running better but still not great. It also has set some other codes for cam sensor and a couple others I can't remember. The steering and suspension are also not in great shape. If the gas line was repaired (and I can do a quick fix on it to get you home) the car could be driven a decent distance but thats up to you. I'm selling it more as a parts car then anything. I think exhaust leaks a little to, not load but annoying. Also, when we bought it there was no front drive shaft in it and we never went to get one. Any other questions please feel free to ask and if I can think of anything else I will add it. There is no reserver on this auction, they are not for sale locally and there is no buy it now. Winning bidder will own these. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Also wanted to add because pictures don't show it, interior of brown blazer is not that clean and carpets are stained. Interior of black blazer is not all put together and there are several misc. parts for blazer sitting in the back of it. Seats are also just sitting in it and not bolted down. Anyone close is welcome to come and take a look at them. I live in Burton, OH 44021 IF INTRESTED I AM ALSO LISTING MY 1983 YAMAHA VIRAGO 750 V-TWIN ON EBAY FOR $950 OBO Just another note I wanted to add. The brown blazer had a very clean body 4 years ago when we got it. It has been driven in the winters since then and there is some rust starting. Nothing that bad and no holes but I wanted to make sure I mentioned it.
