RARE '73 F-250 4X4 HIGH BOY started life as a forestry service truck then was in service as a local fire truck until the year 2000. was sold to a local farmer and used as a service truck around the farm. i bought it a couple years ago with the intentions of a complete resto. it never happened and doesn't look like it's going to so here it is for sale. didn't look at exact miles but i'd guess at around 50k. has some minor rust issues typical to fords of this vintage ( front cab mounts, front floor pans, 1 rocker, small spots on doors, radiator support). has a good running straight six and a np 435 4-speed, heavy gvw front axle with lockouts (ball and socket type with drum brakes) i'm fairly sure it has 4:10 gears all around. has a divorced np 205 t-case which works fine, but lockouts don't seem to be engauging the front axle. i think they nead lubed up as the 4x4 was working fine when it was parked a couple years ago. interior is about a 6 on a 1-10 scale. this is a very restorable truck. hasn't been drove in a few years so it will need to be trailered, but it runs and stops well enough to load. don't bid if you don't want to buy. i require a $200 non-refundable deposit 24 hours after auction end. and the balance in CASH at time of pick-up. will need to be picked up no later than 2 weeks after end of auction or deposit will be kept and truck will be relisted.
