Vehicle Detail

Bike is located in Bradford, NH and must be picked up before Sept 25th. Fire Sale! We have sold our house and first $3800 buys this incredible bike. I will help in shipping, but arrangements will be made by buyer as well as costs. This bike has been built with the highest level of components. The bike began life as a low mile 1976 numbers matching R90S (34K). From there it got stripped down to the frame and a cosmetic redo. I even bought a full size sandblast cabinet and spent months figuring out what blast media to use in restoring BMW aluminum without losing the factory look, yet cleaning it to near new condition (half walnut shell and fine lava dust). I then took the bike to Series 900 (a Porsche restorer and race shop) where it got a custom fairing mount fabricated to accept the new Ducati 900SS fairing. The excellent tank and other parts were painted with fancy three part epoxy paint. I then started attaching the many items I had acquired for the project, among them: * Imported Ducati fairing made for BMWs by UK company (this fairing has the vintage style of the 900SS with bottom wings extending to the tank knee pad area (it really looks exactly correct for the 90S, much more coverage than the little factory cafe screen * Smoked 900SS screen * Italian velocity stacks which screw onto the Dellortos * Italian rear sets (modified to be one-up * Drag specialties Speedo and Tach * Italian aluminum fork brace * Ton-Up solo seat * Two into one shortened pipe * Vintage look mini blinkers and bar end mirrors * Italian clip-ons with full range adjustments And much more I won't quickly recall. Bottom line - sold our NH house and this will go. If any interest, email your number and I'll get back to you promptly. I do not have the factory parts that came from this bike any longer. What does this bike need to be road ready? Wiring (harness is there, just needs basic hookup), fluids, plumbing, tires and final bolt torquing. A motivated person could have this on the road in a few weekends.
