Vehicle Detail
This is the original Lime Poly color offered on the base Firebird models. I thought it would be cool on a T/A. An A/C car but doesn't have compressor or condenser installed. Power windows & locks, rear defogger, tilt steering, cruise control is not installed (but inexpensive enough to have put in). Top is a Hurst Hatch w/black trim. Interior is recently replaced. All interior trim is included except for the T-top interior strips. N.I.B. headliner will accompany the car. My daughter backed into the nose one night and there is a small flake-off on the very tip of the nose. Wheels are Ansen Sprints.... 10" back and 8.5" front. 400 auto w/ Edelbrock 600 carb. Edelbrock Performer intake. Hooker Headers and new 21/2" exhaust. New shocks and springs. I can't verify mileage but the engine runs very smooth and strong. No knocks. The tranny needs a governor spring installed (I'm too old & lazy to crawl under it anymore). They're $45.00 and easy to install. Moving across country and don't want to haul it. It needs a good home. Low reserve. There isn't another one anywhere! Buyer is responsible for transporting. PayPal or cashier's check accepted. Will release the car after the check has confirmed cleared. On Aug-20-10 at 12:12:18 PDT, seller added the following information:I've been asked many times if the car is drivable. It is drivable. However, the governor spring would need to be installed for automatic shifting at proper speeds. Installation is fairly simple and any shade tree mechanic should be able to do it. The part is $45-$50.
