Vehicle Detail
I am selling a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. I purchased the car about 2 and a half years ago and it has sit since. My original intention was to put a Northstar V8 into car and make it a sleeper. Then gas prices flew through the roof and that plan was voided. I then was going to just use it as an everyday car. But decided not to. Now the stuff you should know about this car....... 1 -- The car has not ran in the 2 and a half years Ive had it. 2 -- The car does turn over and start, but does not stay running. (It starts only when I spray throttle body cleaner into it, which leads me to believe there is some varnished fuel through out the fuel system) 3 -- I recently put a new battery, Spark plug wires, and rotor in car. 4 -- Plugs looked good so I just cleaned them off. The cap looked good as well so I just cleaned off the connecting points. 5 -- I disconnected the inlet fuel into the throttle body and let the pump do its thing (got a little bit of Varnished Gas out). 6 -- There are absolutely no leaks on this car. (Even with my original intention I wouldn't have bought it with any leaks) 7 -- The headlight motors worked when I got car. But by sitting I think they need to be adjusted or rebuilt. You can hear the motors but they do not flip headlights out. 8 -- Power windows work, power door locks work (both are slow, but it could be from the battery needing to be re-charged) Car has CC, Tilt, A/C, Bucket seats, and a Sunroof. 9 -- Interior is in pretty decent shape with only one area which you can see from the pics (previous owner was a smoker). 10 -- Exterior isn't real bad, with the rear bumper being the worst part. It looks as though someone backed into a curb and bent the passenger side exhaust and damaged the rear valance (I knew this when I bought it and knew I would be changing the exhaust so it really didn't bother me.) As for the rest of the vehicle, both front marker trim(s) are cracked or broken. The wing is faded because of the sun. And the front bumper has 2 chip marks. The "A" pillar on driver side on top by window has some chipping (2 marks) and right under drivers door handle is some scratch marks (They can be polished out). All glass is intact with absolutely no cracks. Please feel free to E-Mail me with any Questions I may have not answered. I also have and can take more photo's if needed. I have been forced to have to re list this item. Please bid only if you are serious about purchasing this vehicle! I will also be listing car locally and putting a For Sale Sign on Car. So if it goes, I will be reserving the right to end this auction.
