Vehicle Detail

1966 Honda 50 (Cub). This has been in my possession for 11 years and garage kept. The original tires were replaced for preservation purposes and will go with this little bike. I HAVE RIDDEN IT !! Starts easily when fueled up and the transmission shifts fine. As typical of these little carbureted bikes, the gas will gradually run out of the carburetor overflow if the petcock is not closed while stored. The add-on luggage rack has rust but the bike is in very good condition and could be easily restored to show condition. There is a stain on the "skirt guard" from gasoline overflow sometime in its distant past and some wear to the seat. Originally owned by Baltimore Colt running back Rick Volk, his death certificate and an autographed B&W photo of Rick comes with it. I bought it to revive some old memories of the 1964 Honda 50 that started me in a lifetime of motorcycling and had the joy of letting my youngest son ride it once when he reached the age to get his own motorcycle license. I can arrange convenient pickup and loading at the Harley dealership where I work in Memphis. Bids from buyers with less than 10 feedback may be rejected. On Aug-16-10 at 05:53:11 PDT, seller added the following information: ODOMETER CHANGE! I couldn't help myself... I decided to put some gas in the little Honda and see if it would start. It did immediately and I just had to ride it one more time. The odometer is now 1112 miles.
