Up for auction is a very nice 1969 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe with 47,000 original miles.The car is mostly all original with a 351 CI 4 barrel carb FMX transmission and posi traction 325 rear end.The car has the original interior which is a nice clean white with dark green carpets and a black dash pad.The dash pad has a crack where the speaker grill is, which is quite common. The body is all original, as is the paint and the vinal top,no signs of ever being in an accident.It has nice straight lines.The glass is perfect as is all the rubber moulding.The doors are great with no sign of any rust.The trunk, engine compartment, and the undercarriage are in great shape.The frame rails ,torque boxes, and floor pans are all nice and all original.I noticed a couple of small, pin size spots of rust near the rear wheel opening minor at best. There is one scratch on the drivers side front fender which I took a picture of ,and a small ding on the moulding around the drivers side headlight.The car dosn't appear to need anything to be a great driver /small show car.If it had a new paint job and the few small issues I mentioned done it could be a show winner. I am trying to describe this car as if I were looking to buy it BUT I would like you to come look at it yourself, as everyone has a different point of view. Now getting into my expertise, the power train.The motor is a 351 cobra jet 4 barrel with an FMX transmission and a325 posi 9" rear end.This car is deceptively fast (300 + H.P.) The engine is as clean as the day it came from the factory, no leaks,drips, or any other problems,It has new cap mag plugs,coil carb, alternator,fuel pump, thermostat housing,chrome valve covers and air cleaners, braided fuel lines and visible fuel filter,new belts,hoses,solenoid battery cables,everything looks new.The car has duel flowmaster mufflers ,with all new pipes and air shocks.Crager chrome rims and new tires.Everything works great,it also has a new C.D. player and speakers.Its a nice car ready for your inspection.For further information or to set up an appointment to view this nice car call Russ my cell number is 321-229-1670.
