Engine runs like it did at 50k. However the body is starting to show the miles, but nothing a little TLC won't fix. It is currently registered and available for test drive. Depending on my work schedule and distance, I would be willing to deliver or meet half way. I am not going to list every little ding or blemish, I would be happy to send more detailed pictures. There are a couple of rust spots worth noting ( they are pictured ). Also in the right light you can see a small dent under passenger door handle, it looks like someone closed the door with their foot ( I think it was my daughter! ). The right fog light lense was cracked, so I removed it ( the light ). The two front tires will need replacing soon, the two rear tires are fairly new. The car has no more dings or ware than what you would expect for 200k+ miles. The Kelly Blue Book lists the value at $4,010. in fair condition with 200k mls for private party sale and $2,600. for trade in. The major issue is the catalytic converter; it will need to be replaced or hopefully removed ( depending on your states emission laws of course! ). It passed the last inspection, barely! On a more positive note; the interior is in good shape, the front seats are heated. Everything works except the hood release; the cable broke so I put in a pull line at the latch. The car is super fast, it beats my Vette off the line. It has the signature BMW optional manual shift. In its day, this car was in the top five fastest stock production cars. The bottom line is yes-it has 200k miles, but with a little work, this car will easily make it to 300k.
