1996 Honda XR

This is a 96 Honda XR250R that I have owned since March of this year. I purchased the bike in order to teach my son how to ride on the dirt before allowing him to ride on the street. My son & I have ridden the bike a total of about 60 miles in our own backyard. We have not taken it anywhere because of time restraints and only having the one trail bike. This has got to be one of the strongest dirt bikes I have ever ridden and I have been riding for many, many years. When I purchased the bike, I immediately took it to the local dealership and had it completely serviced. The oil was changed, the carburator was cleaned, fresh fuel was put in the tank, the chain and cables were cleaned and lubricated. I had them install new plastic all around except the fuel tank. (Just for cosmetics) I had new fork oil, fork seals and brand new fork boots installed at the dealership because the originals were looking like they had never been replaced. The bike is very strong and very quick. It is quickest 4 stroke dirt bike I have ever ridden. The dealer said that it was a strong bike! I have a lot of money in the bike, service work & cosmetics so at the buy it now price, I am discounting it by at least $500.00. I have a reserve on the bike but it is a low reserve. All you have to do is pick it up, take it to the trails and have fun. It has served the purpose that I needed it for and now is the time to let someone who can enjoy it take it and have fun.
