1966 Chevrolet C-20 3/4 ton pickup truck. All original, low mileage pickup. Purchased this truck from the neighbor of the original owner in 2008. Came off of a Central Iowa farm, and was the original owners "Going to Town" truck. This is a great, completely solid pickup! It runs and drives excellent. It is a 292 6cylinder engine with a 4 speed transmission/granny low gear. It neither leaks or burns any oil. In the past year I have rebuilt the carb, replaced all four shocks, complete new exhaust, put on 4 Michelin tires with upgraded rims, (I have the originals), replaced the exhaust manifold, a complete brake job with new wheel cylinders. I have thoroughly flushed and cleaned the fuel tank, and installed a new fuel pump. The original wood bed is still in great condition. It has a variety of dings and dents that add to the originality. There is a small amount of surface rust, but absolutely no rust through in any location on the truck. All of the cab mounting structure and floors are completely rust free. It has always been stored inside, and has been well taken care of by the original owner. The glass is all perfect, the doors and windows all seal, open and close like new. It is a factory delete radio package with upgraded gauges as opposed to lights. The speedo, all lights, switches, signals and heater work excellent. The grill and bumpers have been repainted to brighten up the appearance. The left front fender has been replaced The professional shop that did the work buffed the truck out and the paint matches perfectly as you can see from the pictures. I would drive this truck coast to coast. It has a fairly stout gears, so 60-65MPH is top speed. It gets 12-16MPG depending on how you drive, but it runs cool and smooth. The truck is sold AS IS, and has a clear Minnesota title in my name. I request that if you have a less than 10 item ebay feedback rating you contact me first so I can verify intention on bidding. The truck is located in a SW suburb of Minneapolis MN, only 10 miles from the MSP International airport. I have a transport connection that can ship the truck at a reasonable cost. These trucks are getting more difficult to find, especially in this kind of original condition. It is a great daily driver, ranch or farm truck. It is completely presentable, and receives many thumbs up from other drivers every time you drive it! It would take very little to make this truck show quality if desired.
