1982 Volvo 242 GLT Turbo The turbo works four newer tires, good bakes, four speed manual transmission with overdrive good clutch, AC works and I have two cans of r12 freon that will go with the car sunroof, minimal rust there is some rust on the rear quarter panels that cant be seen in any of the pics. there is aspot of peeling pant some paint bubbles by the lower rear passenger doors some paint oxidation on the roof no rust holes anywhere no undercarriage rust that I am aware of overall body condition is excellent for a 30 year old car. there are several tears in the leather seams on the front seats and and in the rear seats cracked dash board but the interior still looks good. This car runs and drives good it starts hard when hot and idles around 1300 the rear suspension is a little soft but ok as is it has only had two owners. There is a clunking noise in the rear end and I don't know what the the issue is. this car runs and drives good as is. I have owned this car for ten years. It leaks a little oil maybe a two inch in diameter after sitting a month or more. I will not ship the car buyer must pick up the car. This is a no reserve auction. On Aug-13-10 at 17:31:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Greetings bidders I put 50 miles on this car today with no issues it drives straight with no vibration The hard start issue is still there but it always does start and has never left me stranded and the clunk in the rear end is very minor it is probably just a stabilizer bushing.
