Vehicle Detail
FIRST CONVERTIBLE BMW MADE AND IS DUE TO BECOME A CLASSIC IN A FEW YEARS. A/C doesn't work, but with the top down it's no big deal. New tires were just put on, I've replaced a couple small things recently like the power window buttons, and the hood shocks so the hood stays up. The car runs great, the engine and transmission show no signs of its age. Still gets up to 60 on the highway with relative ease. It has low mileage for an 87 along with little to no rust including the underbody and as a result there is not so much as a drip underneath the vehicle. It has an attractive triple black color (black ext., black top, black int.). The interior is in excellent condition, original stereo and dash are in great shape. The convertible top is in decent shape especially the exterior, there are no water leaks. Car just passed CT emissions and is good until 2012. Title in hand. Personal Note: I personally find newer generation cars to lack personality and this car oozes character, I spent 6 months in Europe last year and these cars are still used everyday and are going well beyond 200k miles. So if you like the old school look with a European flavor then this is the car for you. I don't have any garage space for her and New England winters can be brutal so my loss is your gain. I've donated a couple cars to the American Heart Association, and I thought this would be a fun way to help out using ebay's donation system. If the final donation is on the small side, I'll match it. It may not be much but every little bit helps.
