1975 Honda CR

I have relisted this bike with a lower reserve. This auction is only for 3 days since most people, who would be interested, have had a chance to review it. I really want to sell this bike so if you are interested take another look. Don't pass it up since these bikes are relatively rare and don't show up for sale very often. 1975 Honda Elsinore CR125. I bought this bike 10 years ago thinking I might take up off road riding again; I'm 62 now and I don't see that happening (LOL).... so it's time for someone who really wants to race vintage moto to get this bike. This is a 1975 Elsinore that appears to be in original condition and shows no signs of ever being disassembled. All the fasteners are unmarked and their mating surfaces show no signs of them ever being removed. All the controls are tight, the gear shift lever doesn't have any side play, the brake pedal is tight too, just like it was when the bike was assembled in 1975. The clutch and brake levers show some wear but even they appear to be the originals. I have taken several close up shots of the controls and engine so that the viewer can see what I am saying is factual. The gas tank shows several dents and appears to be leaking in the left rear corner. I will include a Caswell tank sealant kit in the final sale, I would do it but I don't have enough time to do it right now. The fuel overflow tube is missing and the cap is missing the attachment tube otherwise everything is still on the bike down to the cable ties, wire clips and original switches and springs. I have had the bike in storage for 10 years and have never even filled the tank. When I acquired the bike I opened the crate that it was packed in and everything looked good to me so I simply put it away for a future project. I was assured that it was mechanically sound and judging by the feedback of the original seller and how accurate he was in describing the bike. I have no reason to doubt that it is ready for fuel and oil and will start right up. It has good compression and overall the bike is remarkably tight. I suspect it never was used in racing and was basically used for amateur dirt riding. It came from California originally and went into dry storage immediately after I got it. I have the California title too. The photos show it very well and I have tried to cover all the bases. I will crate and deliver to Forward Air for additional $125.00. Pickup is available in Louisville KY. Will also deliver within 250 miles for $.75 per mile roundtrip. Shipping or other arrangements must be completed by August 14, 2010. Storage is available until October 30 with receipt of payment in full. I will not be available from August 19 through September 28, 2010 due to personal commitments so be prepared to complete the sale as soon as the auction ends.
