I am selling my 1982 Corvette (C3). Since purchasing this car, last year, I have done a lot to make it even nicer than when I bought it. I have done the following: new steering wheel, new chrome rims, new transmission seals, all new power steering hoses, new manifold gaskets, new water pump, new ERG valve, new fuel filter, new distributor cap, rotor and wires, new Infinity Kappa front and rear speakers with and powered sub woofer and much more. I am glad to provide any and all records. I had the Crossfire Injection tuned and balanced at a local Chevy dealer. This car runs really well. It is a wonderful and solid daily driver. The T tops are in great shape and the body is VERY clean. The lines are straight in terms of how the doors line up. The interior is really clean and the seats are in good shapes, no rips. I get a lot of compliments on how "clean" the car is. The paint still looks awesome. This isn't a show car, but it turns a lot of heads and it gets a ton smiles. You can drive this Corvette with confidence, while having the peace of mind that it is a very sound running car. This was the last year of the C3 or "shark" body style. On Aug-02-10 at 19:50:36 PDT, seller added the following information: As I reviewed my Corvette listing, I was a little surprised and disappointed to find that the AutoCheck score was low due to an accident that happened 4/2007. I was NOT aware of this as the previous seller didn't mention that an accident had occured. I don't know if he knew of the accident as the owner before him had the car during the time of this reported accident. I have had several mechanics and a lot friends look over this car. Nobody has ever mentioned anything about the car looking like it has been an accident or had signs that it had been in an accident. While I am really glad e-bay offers AutoCheck, please realize that it is just one of many tools to use for getting a good car. So. please don't be "scared off". This car is in VERY good shape and again, drives GREAT. By the way, please be advised that I do have a VERY, VERY small lien at my credit union on this car. They hold the title and will release it the same time the lien is paid. Wisconsin car owners hold the titles not the State. This is NOT an issue. I would be glad to provide any information regarding this should you need it. I wanted to list more of what I have done to this point with the Corvette: New door sills, new hood lamp, new PCV valve, new O2 sensor. I have had the following services performed: new water pump, thermostat, several vacuum lines replaced, new intake manifold gaskets, new valve cover gaskets, set timing, replaced shift shaft seal, transmission serviced, replaced rear output shaft seal and new oil pan gasket. The total cost for the service and all new items I have bought to date is about $3200.00. Again, I have kept all receipts. My reserve is VERY reasonable and priced a lot lower than you may think. I am not someone who is out of touch with what is currently selling and for how much. This car is priced well below 10K. You can always make a REASONABLE offer.
