It originally had a gas engine but I converted it to diesel in 1979 with a 1978 engine that had only 1600 miles on it. It now has 93000 miles and is running very well and has no leaks. It has never been smoked in nor had pets in it. It has never been in a crash. It had gotten some rust problems and so a few years ago I repaired the rust, put on new front fenders, and painted it. We have used it sparingly since then. The paint is not perfect but is presentable. Everything works except the rear window washer. The radio is a replacement that does play cassettes. The dash has no cracks and the seats are good however the driver’s seat has some cracks in the vinyl. There is a small tear in the vinyl headliner but is otherwise good. The tires have about 30% left. A service manual is included. The mileage for this car was originally rated at 40 in the city and 53 highway.
