This is a 1957 Austin FX3 3 door taxi I began restoring 5 years ago.It's a British Motor Co diesel that ran well about a year ago.I haven't had time to do anything on the car since moving from Va to South Carolina and am offering it for sale for restoration or parts.The car is complete in terms of parts excepting some flat glass and minor parts that can be purchased from Kip Motor Co,Dallas,Texas.I have done about all of the major body work and it is in Veriprime self etching primer.There are several thousand dollars in parts including 4 Coker wide whitewalls with no miles on them,a completely redone fuel tank-over $400,a complete Kip Motors interior kit-over $900 and others.I have the two rear fenders and one front fender in black laquer,the hood and 3 doors in two part red as well as the hood and trunk deck.They have,however been sitting wrapped in a barn for 5 years.The drivers side cowl was rotted through so I fabricated a new oak wooden frame and welded in brand new metal.Call me if you have questions at 843 479 1988. The carneeds some starter work and consequently is a rolling chassis that should be picked up with the several boxes of parts and interior.Transporters do charge for for non running vehicles
