Fresh Barn Find!!!1950 chevy truck. Very Low reserve goes to highest bidder!!!This Truck was stored in a barn for years. and ran when it was parked. The guy who I bought it from said he heard it run two years ago and it ran but ran rough like it need a carb cleaning. Who knows if that is true?" He seemed to be honest. It is very rust free for the year. Look at the pictures of the fire wall, the cab corners are not rusted out it is in exceptional shape as far as rust goes. It does has surface rust but is surprisingly sold. I took the truck to a local restoration shop they said it was a great canadite for a restoration the guy told me it was worth 2000 on the hoss web site as it sits. I am listing it here to sell it fast. It has the 6 cylinder motor in it. looks like it has been rebuilt at some point. It has a four speed on the floor transmition. all the major parts look to be there. The tank has been cleaned and is ready to go. Things I know it will need to run. It is missing the coil, alternator, one spark plug and wire. needs fuel line from fuel pump to carb, and a battery and key. A good mechanic could have this running in an after noon. The breaks dont work but all the parts are their.Truck has several dents the fenders are the worst and one in the cab so look at the pictures befor bidding what you see is what you get. Some one might want this for parts or to restore either way I think it would be useful to the right person. I was going to rat rod this truck out, but I feel kinda bad chopping it up like I wanted to. This would make a great project for some one . Ask any questions you can and I will do my best to answer promptly. Mabey some one can help me out there the vin number on the motor was HBA1108460 I could not find that on any of the web sites? So if you have any info let me know I was also told the valve cover was vintage and was worth 500.00 by its self.
