Vehicle Detail

I am listing this car for the owner below:Collector cars are only original once. This is one of those cars. I am the 2nd owner and bought the car from the original owner and my best friend. He bought it new in Fullerton, CA. He moved to Seattle two years ago because of his work. Not wanting to drive the car in the rain he finally relented and sold the car to me. It still has not been driven in the rain, and has always been stored in a garage since new. He gave me all of the receipts since he has had it except for the window sticker. I contacted the National Corvette Museum and had replicas of the window sticker and the tank sticker made and laminated along with the tank sticker summary sheet (see photos). It has the LS1 350 HP V-8 with a six-speed manual. It is a true triple-black convertible even though a few of the pix show the interior to appear “gray” – due to the flash bulb. Better yet, it is totally stock and original except for the new black gear shift ball. Note the options in the attached pix including the 1SC Preferred Equipment Group. Note the Memory Package, HUD, and Dual Power Bucket Seats. The F45 Suspension Package is a “must have.” The Body Side Moldings are the cheapest door protectors you can buy! The engine has had Mobil 1 oil all its life. The only work done on the car was a paint touch-up and rebuffing of the low front chin areas (beneath the headlights, just above the ground) because the previous owner had a very steep driveway and occasionally rubbed the chins on the pavement. Pix of the two redone “chins” are included. There have been NO accidents of any kind. Note the photo of the underside of the rear. It still has the factory chalk marks. The car has the original polished aluminum wheels and Run-Flat 18” Goodyear speed-rated tires. As seen, the tires are in great condition. No slaloms with this car! Everything works just as it should. I live in Arizona and can attest to the COLD A/C in the car. Reason for selling? I was laid off three months ago and the future looks bleak. It is hard to justify three collector cars with no income. That is the ONLY reason I would even think of selling this true survivor – did I say 18,127 miles? YES! Compared to the current Corvette market, the car is very reasonably priced. Hopefully, it will go to someone who is looking for a pampered original that has been enjoyed on a regular basis. Please email with questions or if you want more pix or to view the vehicle. Bidding- Less than 10 feedback bidders please contact me prior to bidding with an email and phone number. Zero feedback bidders will be cancelled without contact information provided. Reserve is set lower than you think. Shipping- Winning bidder is responsible for shipping charges. Export is OK. I can refer you some names of shippers for local, national or international shipping. Service to most major ports Europe or Asia. Payment- $1000 deposit via bank transfer/wire is due within 24 hours and full payment due within 7 days of close of auction.
