Vehicle Detail
This could end up being a great deal for the right person. This is a no reserve auction so somebody will be getting a great deal. Selling our 1 owner/driver 2006 Ford E-350 Cut Van. This van is in the condition one would expect of a 4 yr. old vehical. It looks, rides, drives, like a new van. It has an 8 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission w/overdrive. It is owned by a large Medical Co. on Cape Cod and has always had meticulaus maintanance. It still looks new in a lot of ways. It drives and handles like a new vehical. NOTE-- This being said it MUST be known that the engine needs to have one of the spark plugs replaced or repaired. A spark plug on the passinger side blew out and it is running on 7 cylinders. It still runs great and was used for about 3 weeks after the plug came out until the new van arrived. It was used for about 1000 miles with no problems, aside from a "pffffffiiiittt'ing" noise from that cylinder. It can be driven home and used as is or better yet replace the plug and use it the right way. We retire our delivery vans after about 125,000 miles so this one was due to be replaced anyway. It is in such great shape I hope someone would replace the plug and continue to use it. We had it looked at and were told it may be just a plug, or it may have to be "Heli-arced" for about $300. Either way it is well worth fixing. The book value is $10,500 and we just paid $32,000 for the new one. So again-- this is a GREAT looking and running van that operates as good as a brand new van. It has many uses for an electrician, plumber, appliance repair, painter, ect. It still runs great and was being used as it is and can continue to be. But be aware it is running on 7 cylinders and needs 1 spark plug replaced or repaired. It runs smoother than my Expediton. It was only used locally to deliver medical supplies, wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, ect. The vinyl lettering is easily removed with a hair dryer. There is a small dent behind the passenger side directional. It just easily passed inspection. Please don't call the phone numbers on the van, if you have any questions e-mail or call me directly at 1-508-566-4682. Thanks and good luck, this is a great van that deserves to be used. Remember this is only a 4 yr. old van and it looks it. All I'm asking is to be paid within 7 days of the auction and however we can store the van for as long as needed. Also I can help in any shipping if needed. NOTE-- we also have another van that is heavier duty with dual rear wheels and a 12' box. It has the 7.3 turbo-diesel engine w/auto transmission. Also a 3/4 ton cargo van with a V-8 engine and auto transmission that is being replaced. Both these vans are in great condition and are being used until the new ones arrive. Make an offer or watch for them on e-Bay.
