This is my 2003 Ford F250 crew cab FX4 off road diesel. It drives and rides good. With a good detail the truck would look great. I just installed new speakers and a ford 6 disc in dash cd changer. It has cold a/c and the 4x4 works perfect. I just had every fluid and filter on the truck changed. It starts right up and doesn't smoke at all. The transmission/transfercase front and rear axle are all in great shape and don't leak a drop of anything. The ball joints/tie rods/u-joints are all tight and in great shape. It has no rust at all. (Even under the truck/body seams.) It has a new radiator and 1 rocker arm assembly. It also has an expensive hide-a-hitch gooseneck flip over ball in the bed. This truck is bone stock and does not have any aftermarket parts or chip/programmer. The bad: It is a used truck and has several small scratches and a few dings here and there. (It is not all scratched and dented up.) The driver's seat and center jump seat have several small cigarette burns on them. (The truck does not smell like smoke.) The truck needs a headlight switch. The lights all work fine, but the automatic dome and bed light had to be unplugged due to the switch not turning them off. The battery light will sometimes come on and go right back off. (The batteries are starting to get weak and need charged.) The engine has a noise coming from the air filter area. I "think" it has a valve train issue. (Possibly another rocker arm going bad or an exhaust leak in the up pipe somewhere.) I am not a diesel mechanic and do not know what the problem with the truck is. It does start right up and runs down the road fine. I simply can not afford to put the truck in the shop to see what the problem is and have it repaired. I have tried to describe everything about the truck the best I can. It is being sold cheap with no reserve and is AS-IS, where is. I encourage anyone to come and look at the truck. This would make someone a good cheap truck. The "fair condition" private party value is $13,700. Retail is $18,800. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right it end the auction. On Aug-02-10 at 08:17:24 PDT, seller added the following information: The headlights and fog lights do work fine on the truck. The tires were just rotated and two of the tires have about half tread and the other two have a little less than half tread. The windshield does have a crack running across the bottom.
