Vehicle Detail

1972 numbers matching 200 hp. automatic trans, power windows, tilt telescopic, power steering, AC (missing) originally War Bonnet Yellow. This car took a hit on the front right corner in 1980 and has sat waiting patiently for you to come along and put her back on the road. As you can see from the photos I have included an Ecklers front wrap. I have the original hood, headlight buckets, most of the brackets and both inner fenders, turn signal grills, side mirror, 1 side grill, and more. The car is quite complete but needs AC box and compressor, passenger door skin, tee top liner same side, and front bumper. The mono leaf is new and the radiator has been replaced with a new one it is for a manual and has no tranny cooling ports. The interior is in good shape with a little wear on the A pillars is all. The dash pad looks good and the glass is almost perfect. The motor starts however the transmission will need to be flushed as it has gotten water in it. I don't know how or why but it is milky pink but still strong enough to pull itself up onto a hauler. I found this car sitting outside under a tree and the guy told me he only had it there a few months probably more like 6. Just long enough to get the front carpet ruined. There is some damage to the firewall on that corner. Other than that this car has been in a garage. The frame looks solid with surface rust only. I would start by measuring the frame for proper alignment. It will also need a brake job. I have many pictures and will gladly take more if you'd like me to. email me or call me at (815) 766-2901 I'll answer any questions you can come up with. I had this car listed in June of this year. The winning bidder strung me along for a month before stiffing me so if your not sure you want to take on a project like this buy one restored from someone else. I reserve the right to reject an offer if you don't have a proven track record. I'm requiring a $500 deposit via Pay Pal within 48 hours and the balance in cash when you pick the car up unless other arangments are made. Thanks for your interest. Bid early and bid often. . On Aug-05-10 at 12:44:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I just showed the car. I put a couple gallons of fresh gas in her and she fired right up, sounds strong. will need a water pump seals have gone bad after sitting 30 years mostly in a garage. 8/5/10
