Eight cylinder (Dual Ignition) with a slipstream back and suicide doors. This handsome pre-war beauty is renowned for its streamlined art deco style. Complete, non-molested midwest car with original interior, prime for restoration. Mechanically strong with replaced wheel bearings, king pins and tie rod ends. The cars runs great, and is a pleasure to drive. She rides at 60 mph with ease. All doors shut and lock, windows roll down, and all interior hardware works properly. The car has a rebuilt working radio. The front floor mat is worn but the carpet in the back is nice. The seats/door panels have some fading and a few spots, but overall not bad for a 71 year old car. The headliner is intact with a few mouse holes. Extra nice wood grain dash and window frames showing a little wear. The car has always been garaged and cared for by Nash club owners. A small 3x7” area of rust above both running boards was removed. This seems to be the only area of rust or corrosion. This car needs body work, paint and some TLC. If you are looking for a unique orphan car, jump on this rare 39 Ambassador… A true survivor. Since the photos we taken, all of the window frames, chrome, running boards and bumpers were removed to prepare the car for paint.
