I stopped the auction early and The Mercedes was sold yesterday to ebay member: porscheexpert who had 0 feedback and lives in California. This appearently is a very immature and childish ebay member. Its very sad ebay allows NEGATIVE feedback from such people. I have been a member since 2003 and I've had nothing but pleasant transactions on ebay. (Until NOW) Its ashame I received a NEGATIVE from someone who never had any intentions of buying the car. BEUTIFUL RED1971 Mercedes-Benz 200 SERIES 250 2.8 L, 6 cylinders, fuel injection, automatic transmission, A/C, Becker AM/FM radio. This Mercedes was parked about 5 years ago when it started running hot. It has not been started or driven since then. I wish I could tell you more about the motor. I assume it could be a head gasket or maybe/hopefully something more minor? It needs to be looked at by someone who knows how to work on a Mercedes Benz. When I pushed it out to wash it, I turned the key and it still truned over but I didnt try to start it due to the length of time in storage. As you see the car it was washed off and thats how pretty the paint job and how excellent the body is. The body shows rust free and no dents. BEAUTIFUL 1971 MERCEDES !! The interior is in very good condition a quick vacum and the interior is excellent... The interior still looks great after sitting in a pole barn for the last 5 years. No rips or tears. All glass is good. Odometer reads 45069 but I have no documentation to verify miles. I would say by overall car condition its very possible its original miles.
