I have owned this beauty for 12 years. Completely original. Never driven in winter. I have all records of work done .These cars are bulletproof and other than normal wear items it has had no problems. Passed inspection in May but exhaust is seeing some wear. Over last several years I have replaced the Distributor cap, wires and plugs,water pump, radiator, brakes, rotors, all wheel alignment, tires (Michlen-MXV4, like new) Oil and filter every 3000 miles. Needs little to be perfect. A/C is currently not working. .I am told it needs a compressor clutch. Worked fine last year and I just put all windows down and open roof and enjoy !! Have not had the time to fix it.I drive it daily from May to November. Someone keyed the car several years ago. There was no body damage except for the scrapes on the left side, hood and trunk that were keyed. To my surprise the insurance company paid over $4000.00 for a complete paint recondition. The entire car was stripped, bead blasted and painted with original Mercedes paint by a premier Mercedes certified body shop that does lots of high end vehicles. I had the whole car done in one color (original black color instead of the two tone black and gray. It shines like new. Interior is in very good shape with normal wear. Front seats have premium sheep skin covers. They are gray to match interior. Premium Alpine I-Pod ready sound system with sub-woofer. New rear pads and rotors this year. The left seat belt re-tractor needs a gear to work right but not necessary. I replaced it several years ago with a used one ( $50.00) It worked till someone stepped on the belt getting in back seat. But manually it is fine. Very reliable and the best ride ever just ask someone who drives one. 23 MPG highway!!! Car is way ahead of it's time. Selling because I needed a pick-up for work and do not want to see it sit around !!! Truly one of a kind !!! Really nice car for someone who knows Mercedes.
