This is a 1969 Datsun Sports 2000, model SLR311. It has a 2000 cc 4-cylinder engine, twin SU carbs, 5 speed transmission. Curb weight 2100 pounds. The owner of this car died some 17yrs ago. The wife covered the car in her garage in Bryan, TX where it sat for 15yrs. I acquired the car 2 years ago with the intention of restoring it. It has not been driven or the engine started since the owner died. However, the engine is not locked and turns freely. The speedometer is broken. I estimated the mileage at around 70,000. The car is complete but rubber parts are deteriorated; the tires are new. The canvas of the convertible top is completely deteriorated but the mechanical parts are fine. Owners manual included.
