I purchased this motorcycle in perfect condition from the original owner with 3500 miles on 2008. He was a mature adult driver that purchased the bike from Irv Seaver Motorcycles in the City of Orange, California on 7-22-06. He ordered the following list of accessories from the dealer: left and right side aluminum BMW side bag cases with the reflectors and inserts, a set of locks and bracket case kits, as well as and the hand grip protectors. I have the original bill of sale, the manuals, two sets of keys, and the tool case that came with the bike from the dealer. Long Beach BMW serviced the bike at 6000 miles and added a harness for warmer clothes good for (Sebring, Harley-Davidson or BMW clothes). 2006 was the last year that BMW manufactured the reliable Rotax engine in Czechoslovakia, now it is manufactured in China. This engine is ultra reliable and well-known to go over 100.000 milles with the proper maintenance. It's a single cylinder 4 stroke engine with 4 valves with bucket tappets, 2 overhead camshafts, and dry-sump lubrication. Max. speed 105mph.Fuel consumption is around 70 to 73 mpg.It comes with ABS, brembos front and rear, the seat height is 30.71in. and weighs wet 429 lbs. This bike has been pampered by two mature experience drivers, it has never been driven on dirt and it is ready for long distance travel, across the country or even to Alaska. This motorcycle has NEVER BEEN DROPPED, no dents except on the left side saddle bag (see picture). I was moving my other long distance touring bike and the frame of the other bike accidentally tapped the BMW saddle bag, it's unnoticeable and cosmetic only. NO ISSUES at all , bid with confidence. This motorcycle has always been garaged with a battery tenderner. I put a reasonable reserve on this inmaculate, excellent condition, motorcycle, and I will assist with delivery if necessary up to 50 miles from Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca., but I will not crate the bike.
