I am listing this car for a friend of mine who does not have an eBay account. The car was always adult driven, completely stock and never abused. The car itself runs great and has 96,000 ORIGINAL miles. The car is currently New York State inspected until April of next year. There are no check engine lights, ABS lights or any dash lights on at all. The transmission shifts very smoothly with no hesitations at all and the engine is quiet with no lifter noise or ticks of any kind. The tires and brakes are less than a year old and have a lot of life left to them. The Air Conditioning blows ice cold and was just recently re-charged. The interior is clean and shows no signs of pets or smoking. The Eclipse does have some cosmetic defects. There is NO RUST on the car at all (not even strut towers) but there are some scratches and minor dings/dents. Most of the scratches/dings are on both rear quarter panels. There are a few scratches on the passenger door and fender as well that were attempted to be touched up by her nephew. (PLEASE SEE PICTURES FOR ALL DAMAGE). The front bumper was just replaced and repainted due to a minor parking lot fender bender and the driver door had a considerable dent repaired but you can see a very minor paint drip where the dent was fixed. This car has a CLEAN title and none of these incidents were reported to her insurance company so they do not show up on a Carfax/Autocheck. Recently the Valve Cover gasket was replaced because it was leaking oil. This was done around 90k and it seems to be holding up well. There is some oil on the block from prior to the repair but does not burn or smoke at all. I have tried to get it off the best I can but if you know anything about oil leaks, its not easy to clean. It is also missing the passenger side door handle ($11 here on eBay) The only other 2 issues with the car is the headliner inside the car has been torn off because it was sagging (About a $160 repair here locally) and it will need a new flex pipe. I have priced out flex pipes for her on eBay and they are $80 and no one should charge you more than an hour's labor. The car is louder than it should be due to the flex pipe but not obnoxiously loud or overwhelming, at least to me. Other than these minor issues and minor cosmetics its a great running car and with only 96,000 miles on it someone should be able to get a lot of use out of it. As you can see by my feedback I try to describe these cars to the best of my knowledge and NEVER try to steer someone in the wrong direction.
