1971 Honda

Up for auction is a beautiful 1971 Honda K2 mini trail Z50. This is a great looking bike that has been completely restored. It is painted with a factory match mustard yellow paint. It has a very high gloss shine. The tank has the factory two tone paint sceam with the lower half being painted white. This bike was restored using as much original hardware as possible. It was all professionally replated with a zink finish and looks brand new. The aluminum has been polished to a mirror finish. And the crome is in near perfect condition. To maintain the integrity of the bike, most of the original parts were used. But there is a long list of new parts on this bike. Many parts were replaced simply because they were not nice enough for a high quality restoration. This bike starts easy and idels nicely. It is a strong runner and shifts very solidly. It has brand new tires and tubes. It is ready to be enjoyed. There are a few negative things about this bike. The headlight is only working on low beam, and on the tank, there are some small bubbles in the paint. There may be another small blemish that I forgot to mention or haven’t noticed. This is a 40 year old bike. While it looks brand new, it’s hard for a bike of this age to be completely blemish free. Don’t worry though; you’ll have a hard time finding any. Over all this is a great looking bike and a very solid investment. The values just keep going up. It is a classic that is ready to be enjoyed.
