PLEASE DON'T PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO MY FEEDBACK, BUSINESS PARTNER TO USER 2_little_time, HE SHOWED ME HOW EBAY WORKS AND IS TAKING CARE OF THE BIKE FOR ME WHILE I'M AWAY. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL: 262-206-2819 HIS NAME IS JUSTEN, FROM NIPPLE TWISTERS WHEELCRAFT OUT OF GENOA CITY, WI-HE'LL ANSWER ANY TECHNICAL QUESTIONS FOR US, AS WELL AS SENDING ANY OTHER PICS YOU MAY NEED. THANKS!! No reserve auction-bid to own, deadbeats need not inquire or bid, thank you!! Engine number: CB550E2008977 Frame number: CB550K2009051 My first auction here is for my 1977 Honda CB550 K Four. I am selling so I have room in my garage for my cars this winter. The bike is a very strong runner, needing minor upkeep and TLC as all bikes do from time to time. The bike is missing the correct OE Blue right side battery cover, and has a nice ABS plastic cover there now. Fuel tank on bike now is correct, with lock, and cap-I don't think the finish is that appealing, and would like to change the color myself-since there are some scratches and what not anyway. I have another era correct tank that goes with the bike, it is not blue, but a nice Brown and black color, with a perfect internal condition, read, like new!! Bike is a nice rider, new, less than 500 miles, tires front and rear, though they aren't matching. Wheels are in pretty nice shape, spokes are not all rusted, rims have some little spots here and there, and the hubs are fairly clean, not all corroded. Nipple Twisters is a wheel building specialty service provider-wheels could be rebuilt for all bikes for the best prices around, and with more care than any 'stealership' you'll ever find. Front rotor is less than a year old. Everything on the bike works, horn, hi-lo headlamp switch, turn signals, and brake light, as well as all cluster and indicator lights for oil, and neutral also. Speedo was replaced after a bit after I purchased the bike, so odometer is about 10,000 or so miles higher than I believe it should be (compared the one that was inop when it stopped working). Battery was installed this year-bike turns over like a sewing machine!! Don't believe motor has ever been apart, no gasket sealer hanging out, and all bolts/screws look nice and correct. Kick start as well in case you ever feel like being a more internal part to the bike, or kill the battery!! Bike still has long stem OEM turn signals on front and rear, with buzzer/relay up front working as well. All chrome has been kept up well, not aftermarket cheap stuff, but OE factory pieces that still have a lot of shine to them, not a ton of pitting like most bikes of this age. Side stand is still on bike and used often to clean and store. Side stand is of course in place as well. Frame has paint that could be challenged of it's real age, though it's still the original from the factory-no giant rust spots, peeling, and the warning/instruction stickers are still easily legible, and head tube decal with date of manufacture (8/76) in near perfect condition. Seat on bike is super nice and comfortable, (don't believe to be original cover because it doesn't say 'honda' on the rear of the cover), but is very nice none the less. Seat lock still is working and has little swinging keyhole cover-uses ignition key, in case you don't know!! Rear fender is pretty nice, even under the seat, and is not all dented up or twisted. I'm not sure what else I can tell you about the bike, so please ask as many questions as you can think of the help me, help you. Again, this is a completely road worthy bike all day, everyday, and has been to me for a number of years. Maybe a new chain, and rear brake shoes are in it's future, and that's the only thing I haven't gotten to, unless you need a factory correct exhaust-I like the silly little Supertrapp and not perfect pipes, sounds great!! Has new air cleaner, and fuel line with filter to carb rack. BY THE WAY, perfect OEM mirrors and good passenger pegs and brakets come with bike as well, though not in picture!! I'm sure I'm missing a few details-please inquire by calling or emailing!! With some low cost maintenance and upkeep-I see someone having as much fun as I did, and having a machine with much potential for a very nice bike as well!! Bike is for sale locally-but want to give this Ebay thing a chance!
