Up for sale is an original Electron Blue Pearl 1999 Honda Civic SI. The car was a trade-in at a local Honda dealer. It needs some work and is being sold as-is with no warranty and "not actual miles". It does have a clean NY title. This would be a great project for someone who has the time and knowledge. The engine, transmission, and ecu are all original, they have not been swapped out. Engine is good, does not smoke or have any leaks. Transmission is good, no grinds in any gear. Clutch is good. The car drives straight and has good tires. Body is in fair condition and has several dents, please see the pictures. Interior is fairly clean and has not been smoked in. The AC still blows cold. The brakes need to be replaced in the rear and the car needs a wheel bearing. The check engine light is on, this means that the car will not currently pass emissions inspection in NY. There are hard codes for MAP sensor and VTEC malfunction causing a rough idle. There may be more problems, I could not figure this out and don't have the time to do so. It is the buyers responsibility to get the car to pass inspection. New York residents must pay sales tax. A $250 non-refundable deposit via Paypal must be sent within 24hrs of the auction ending. The balance must be paid by cash or certified bank check and the vehicle has to be picked up within one week of the auction ending. The car is driveable and you shouldn't have a problem driving it home, but being sold as a project car I would recommend putting it on a trailor.
