1965 Cadillac Deville Convertible 24,883 Miles - Not original. California Car - with a California title. Car is available in Colden, NY, 20 minutes south of Buffalo, NY. You are bidding on a no reserve auction. Please READ ALL of the details about this car and the details of this auction before bidding. I will answer all questions that I have NOT already answered in the description below. The car looks amazing from 20 feet away. There is no other like it which is why there will be a lot of activity and interest in this very unique automobile. The car is not perfect, which is reflected in the price of the car. I would recommend interested buyers to view the car prior to bidding. Because the car is black, it hides many of the imperfections on the car from a short distance. The paint is several years old and is not perfect. The car is solid, as it spent all of its life in California, except for the past 4 months. The chrome on the car is in decent condition with little pitting. It still shines and is in keeping with the rest of the exterior. I purchased the car as part of a package deal and do not have a use for it. I have no information on the history of this car other than I bought the car from southern California and it has a California title. I have not done any work on the car other than the following; new heavy duty battery, add oil, brake fluid, and detailed the car. The car does drive nice. The car has a nice interior that appears to be a newer restoration, however it is not perfect. There is a small hole in the rear seat that would need to be repaired to make it perfect. I have the right material for the next owner to repair if they choose to. The hole is about the size of a quarter. The weather stripping has not been replaced and is not new. The rug is in nice shape, as is the rest of the interior. The windows work, the power top works and is in nice shape as well. The car starts up flawlessly, runs and drives very strong. Brakes feel nice, and the transmission clicks into gears properly and really moves down the road quite well. Several thousands of dollars were spent on this car. The tires and rims, which appear to be in really nice shape with very limited wear and no signs of curbing are high quality 22 inch black and chrome. They really set the car apart. I estimate that the cost of the wheels and tires to exceed $3500. The car has been lowered by the previous owner, however it does not have any issues with daily driving or pulling into driveways or driving over speed bumps. The car appears to be lowered properly and at the proper height. The car has dual exhaust, that stops at the back of the mufflers. The car sounds mean to go with its very cool appearance. I could see this car in a movie. It has that unique character about it and really turns heads! If you want attention or want to make a significant impression upon arrival, this is the car for you. The car also has a remote start and auto door pop to open the door. The door handles were shaved and appears to be done right. This gives the car a very sleek and unique look. The car does not appear to have heat, air conditioning or seat belts. I believe they were removed during the restoration and have not been added. I do not have the parts, the new owner will need to source them if they desire. The car is being sold as is, where is with no warranty expressed or implied.
