ONLY 2552 PRODUCED,1969 FORD TORINO GT CONVERTIBLE,302,NUMBERS MATCHING,UNMOLESTED AND PRETTY MUCH ALL THERE,This is a true barn find it has been under a cover for several years,till recent,the numbers do match,the top goes up and down with the switch,the blinkers do flash,lights come on and brake lights do show,some are missing the bulbs, the windows go up and down,all glass is good with no cracks including the original rear top glass,the AM radio still works,the windshield wipers work,floor pans are good,and not rusted out,trunk is good,only real rust is behind rear wheels on quarters,the surface rust is from being under a tarp for so many years,she does have some dints and dings but most of the chrome is there,she does run and can be driven,but i wouldn t go to far because of the bias ply gum dipped front tires on her,the radiator and water pump do leak,and will need replaced,we put new wheel cylinders on the rear,rebuilt the fronts and put in a new master cylinder,and rebuilt the starter,all the shoes are good,the carb will probably need to be rebuilt as well,and a new tranny seal is needed,as i said she has sat for years,the dash is in pretty good shape except where it looks like a kid burnt with the push button lighter,the lighter also does still work,front seat does have rips but is very useable,the rear shows a cigarette burn but not burnt through.one of the arms on the top will need tacked as well as the top replaced,the grill is good with no cracks or brakes,blower motor still blows as well,not for sure on the A/C no belt to be able to check it,if you are a person who likes to hunt for parts this car is probably not for you because almost all the parts are there....ther were only 2552 of these produced in 69,of those probably half if not less are left,and you probably will not pull up to another one at the street light,this could easily be made into a cobra jet clone,my self i think she is cool to drive around as she is,weve driven her around town here and gotten a great thumbs up response......shes not perfect but it wouldn t take alot witch ever way some one wanted to go with her,restore,rat rod,cobra,street rod,retro,or hot rod....reguardless she is just one cool old car....dont bid if you dont want to pay please,because im selling do to pay my bills....500 dollar deposit do 24 hours of auction end.....you are welcome to come check her out,my number is 1-785-569-1506 Jim THIS IS THE THIRD TIME AND FINALE TIME I AM LISTING, IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY DONT BID,IF YOU NEED TO ASK YOUR WIFE DONT BID,DEPOSIT IS SET TO INSURE YOU PAY AND IS NONREFUNDABLE,NOT SO AS I HOLD THE CAR FOR YOU TILL YOU GET THE BANK TO FINANCE YOU.....AND NO I WILL NOT HOLD YOUR DEPOSIT AND WAIT FOR 30 DAYS FOR THE REST....IF YOU HAVE A CASH IN HAND OFFER FOR ME OVER 2000 THEN CALL......THIS IS A RARE CAR AND IS NOT ALL RUSTED OUT....IT IS VERY VERY RESTORABLE.....
