1972 Honda CB 350 Up for auction is a 1972 Honda CB350. The bike appears to be all original with the exception of tires. The odometer shows 13,023 miles. This CB has been in storage for several years until last week. Upon inspection the fuel tank showed internal rusting and will need to be etched or replaced. A make-shift tank was installed and with the battery charged the bike started with little effort. During a test ride the bike exhibited hesitation with 1st gear acceleration which cleared to surprisingly powerful acceleration through the remaining gears. A cleaning of the carburetors should resolve this hesitation during take-off. The other mechanical areas such as: brakes, brake light, clutch, headlight, horn, shifter, starter, and throttle all seem to be in working order. Cosmeticaly the bike is in fair condition. The frame shows light surface rust throughout. The tank and fork paint seem good with very light scuffing on the surface. The seat is clean and firm with a small tear near the tank on the left side. The chrome exhibits pitting and surface rust on most pieces. If you have any questions please ask.
