Vehicle Detail

This is a nice original vehicle with a driver quality repaint in Sassy Grass Green. Original exterior finish was FK5 Burnt Orange Metallic with matching color bench seat interior. Interior color has been changed to black. Vehicle has its “Born with” original 383 Magnum engine and Torqueflite Transmission. That is, the unaltered VIN number is clearly visible on both the engine block and the transmission case. It is a great driver you get in and drive as is. The engine starts easily and runs good. The transmission works smoothly. Odometer mileage shows 42,781. We believe actual mileage to be 142,781. All gauges work and the Add-on A/C blows cold. The A/C compressor has been upgraded to a new Sandan unit. The original heater-defroster system was removed when the after-market A/C system was installed. The original AM radio in the dash does not work. An Alpine Stereo Receiver is installed in the glove box and a Jensen Amplifier is installed in the trunk. The undercarriage is original and is in good condition, with most of its factory undercoating intact. The tires are near new Firestone Bias Belt Redline F70X14s. The undercarriage and floor pan of vehicle are rust-free. The doors fit good and shut easily. All body panels are original except for a portion of the trunk floor and a portion of the LR quarter panel ahead of the LR wheel opening. The Convertible top mechanism works as it should and fit of top is good. The differential gear ratio is high, our guess is 3.90s or more. In 2008, it was driven over 600 miles from Phoenix, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada and back, to attend the “Mopars at the Strip.” Show. Owner History of vehicle is as follows: Two owners from Scottsdale Arizona prior to purchase by a collector car dealer in 2007, who sold vehicle to the current seller. Vehicle has stayed in Arizona all of its life. Vehicle has the following original factory documents. 1. Original Factory Window Sticker from Jack Johnson Chrysler-Plymouth, Scottsdale, this item is in very good condition. 2. Original build sheet, this item is in poor condition. 3. Original Chrysler Corporation MSO Title, dated 11-7-4. 1970. 4. Original owners manual. 5. New vehicle engine starter tag. 6. Chrysler Consumer Information Sheet It is our opinion that the fender tag, door jamb VIN sticker and dash VIN tag are the original items installed at the factory.
