Vehicle Detail

Up for your consideration is my 1985 1/2 Porsche 944 loaded, 5 spd, A/C, p/s, power windows, power dr locks, power driver seat, tinted glass, leather seats w/cloth inserts, sun roof,Alarm i'm sure i've forgotten something, The car is rust free from Indiana about 4 years ago cam to Arizona well preserved The car is stunning just look at it, one thing i would do to this car is put a computer performance chip in it even though this was the fast car on the planet back in 85 by todays standards putting a chip in it makes a world of differance for these cars and the chip cost around $500.00 installed but well worth the money, a friend of mine has an 86 and he has a chip in his and the differance between the two cars is off the hook, hard to believe really but these cars are interfaced which is why timing belt maintenace is so important with these cars, Maintenance records that i have will be included for the winner of this car i have no idea what the true value of this car is i will list it as a NO RESERVE auction and let you decide i prefer to allow the auction to run it's full duration, place your bid to win as the highest bidder will win this Stutgart record setting black beauty, I've owned the car about 4 months it's a nice car i can't afford to keep it my financial situation has changed recently and this must go, The dash has cracks and was covered up with a dash cover which we took off, the drivers seat on the left lumbar only is warn otherwise the interior is in great condition showing normal ware very clean for its age, this is my daily driver not perfect or show though it does look as good as any ive seen at auctions for some reason i've never seen a black one for sale to really compare it too i personally am parcial to the black it looks the best in my eyes, The tires are near new and the original Fuch's wheels are long gone before me again it's personal preferance but i think the Fuch's look better than any other wheel out there for these cars they look great what more can i say but there gone how anyone could think these look better is beyond my comprehention, each to there own as they say, Porsche runs good brakes good shifts good i'm not one to abuse a car i drive more conservative i'm a non smoker, i replaced the battery within the last 2 months there is a rattle that recently started coming from the left front shock area i'm thinking new struts are likely, I love the car i love everything about it the look the way it handles the attention it gets the body style is timeless i guess what i love the most about this car if i had to choose it would be the way it handles low to the ground and nothing corners like a 944 it's truley a driving machine for a 25 yr old car it holds it's own especially when around other Porsche owners we all are parcial to what we drive Porsche has always been a rear engine sports car this was the first for Porsche to put the engine up front but the balance is perfect in the weight is divided evenly between the front and rear but then the transmission and the rearend are as one unit balanced with the engine they got it perfect which is why it handles so great, by far this is the best of the 944s built, the 924 was not much then the early 944 up through 1985 they need alot of changes to make it a nice sports car so in 1985 mid year 85 1/2 they made all the necessary changes and they got it right this is a vast improved version for the later 944 began in the mid year of 1985 1/2, The older version has the bulky squared off dash board i could go on but you check it out this did it for me the only reason i'm parting with it is financial otherwise i'd keep it forever. it will sell to the highest bidder $500.00 deposit is due following auctions end and balance is due 3 days following auctions end winner pays shipping sold as is i will assist in the loading of the car if your out of state you can store it here for up to 30 days at no charge providing its paid in full, if you are local or not you may come see the car before bidding please ask all your questions your satisfaction is important to me if you are not completely satisfied i will refund you your purchase price up to 15 days of auctions end winner pays all shipping fees, All the best.
