This is an 1990 Buick Reatta that I purchased with the intent to keep it for many years to come, but not being currently employed I am forced to sell one of my dream cars. Believe me, I will own another one when I get back in the job market again. There were only 4300 of the 1990 Reatta's produced. This was the first year they got away from the1989 and earlier computer touch screens that were known to have problems when they got older. One thing that has always bothered me is oil or tranny leaks in my driveway so I have had numerous repairs just recently to assure it would eliminate all leaks at a cost of $1348.98. I had the head Valve Cover Gasket and the Intake Gasket replaced. I also had House of Mufflers and Brakes put in a new Frost Plug and Thermostat and also a LT Axle Seal and Front Left Ball Joint. The front right Ball Joint was replaced by the previous owner and I also have a receipt for that repair. I also had a new Catalytic Converter installed. AAMCO Transmissions replaced the transmission Gover Gasket and Seal and also the Pan Gasket and Transmission Filter. Once again I have all receipts and the total cost I paid for the items just listed was $2033.08.Now the Reatta is LEAK FREE. The Air Conditioner blows ICE Cold. I drove from Philadelphia to Omaha a few weeks ago which was a 1400 mile trip and enjoyed over 30 MPG! The Reatta drives straight with no pulling left or right. In fact, you can let go of the steering wheel and the car will continue to drive straight.The car has no cracks in any of the glass and all the lights work correctly with the exception of the dome light because the slider switch needs to be replaced. The map lights located on the rear view mirror work just fine.The tires only have about 3500 miles on them. The Popup Headlights were rebuilt by the previous owner with the new metal repair kit which are known for lasting much longer. The body is 95% straight but does need a paint job which was next to do on my list. The seats have NO TEARS in the leather but does show some wear on the seams. The door panels are in good shap but not perfect. The carpet is a little faded as well but no tears. You will need to replace the headliner and should be able to get it done for under $175.00. The headliner is not hanging and is still tight to the roof but again just needs to be replaced. This Reatta also has a rare factoy Sun Roof and not an aftermarket sun roof. The sun roof sticks from time to time going to the popup position but always opens and closes with no leaks at all. You should take it to a sun roof professional and have it fine tuned. The am/fm works great and I have not tried the cassette yet but was told it worked from the previous owner. The OEM CD Player will not play your newer CD's. The only other thing I can think of is the motor for the power antenna needs to be replaced and the passenger power door lock has to be done manually. The trunk lock is broken and needs a new one which I have seen on eBay for about $30.00 so you need to open the trunk with the interior remote switch located inside the glove box. Keep in mind this car is 20 years old so a new updated sound system would be a great add. Once again I have a huge folder full of repair receipts. The engine has 171,000 miles on and has been my daily driver with never a break down.. It always starts right up and does have a new battery. The transmission is very tight and responsive. The passing gear has a lot of power and get's you moving quickly. The car is located in Omaha and I'm confident you will make it home no matter where you live on very little gas. This is a fantastic highway cruiser with lots of leg room.. This is a "NO RESERVE" auction. An $800.00 non refundable deposit must be received within 24 hours with the balance due within 7 days.
