Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is an absolutely Stunning 1957 Chevy Bel Air Custom. This 1957 Chevy Bel Air Custom received a frame off restoration about 5 years ago and took BEST OF SHOW the very first car show we entered her in to! It has been a crowd pleaser ever sense! This Custom 1957 Bel Air started out as a project to build my wife a car! I started with an absolutely gorgeous unmolested, non-rusty body and a true V-8 car..........and sometimes Plans Change! Exterior Body/Undercarriage: Very High end PPG hot hues Midnight Safire Blue Custom paint Job with Psycho Silver transparent (color flipping) Bel Air Coves, over a completly all steel body. The shaved door handles are the only major change to the exterior of this beauty. If someone did not like the automatic door openers or the look, the car could very easily be changed back to the regular door handles. There is an emergency "popper" under the front drivers side fender. Undercarriage is finished off as nice as the top side, painted in black por15 for durability, the bottom side of this car looks as good as the top side! Interior: All new Custom Black leather interior with dyed black Ostrych accent's. Keeping the original theme of 1957, while giving it suttle changes to include adding the two different materials (leather/Dyed Ostrych) and the embosed "chevy" emblems in the door panels and rear seat, along with the custom Ostrych Sun-Visors. This 1957 Bel Air Custom has a Dakota Digital dash with Billet trim, and it's original 1957 radio in its correct place! The 1000 watt stereo with infered eye is mounted under the front seat and works off of a remote. Trunk is done to match interior of car exactly while housing the amp and sub speakers, and a custom area to store your "showing" materials! Frame: Frame was completly stripped and repainted with Por15, everything and I mean everything is new! Front brakes were converted to disk while leaving the rear's drums. 605 Steering box added along with all new bushings, brake & fuel lines, etc......Everything is NEW, no Expense was spared, it was going to be the wife's car, remember!! DriveTrain: Engine started life as a Gen 2 454, bored .060 with all new components. All Engine work was professionaly done by BHP in Anoka, MN...Been in business building Big Horse Power for a real long time! Custom built Turbo 350 with a 2800 rpm shift kit, with a completely all new rear end. Car has long legs 3:23's....I do have a 1957 456 posi rear end available, I just enjoy passing everything, including the gas stations! Complete new 2 1/2 inch Dynomax exhaust system with chrome tips..... 17" Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dogs with 225 45R17 upfront and 255 50R17's in back....car has a beautiful stance........ If your the shy type and don't like attention, this is not the car for you. This car draws large crowds were ever I take it. You will not find a nicer, well thought out, well put together, custom 1957 Bel Air anywhere. All custom work was done in mind so that the new owner could easily change the car back to being 100% original if they wanted to. No molestation of body, interior or under the hood. I have sold a few cars on ebay, all with very positive results and feedback. I am on over active collector and I am downsizing a few cars to fund a new business adventure. This is not a fire sale! Please no tire kickers or picture collectors, I won't waste your time, please don't waste mine. Please have funds available and permission from whomever. This is a legal transaction and will be treated accordingly. I have a few of my other cars on ebay up for auction, please take a minute to take a look! Rememer, they print money at the Treasury everyday, they only made these classic's once, and they have proven to be better than money in the Bank. Good luck!!
