Vehicle Detail
My loss is your gain! I absolutely love this car. I am moving out of the country and can't take it with me. I would ship it in an instant but the import tax in Australia would be about $15,000, so I can't do it. The car is priced to sell--compare it to other WRX STIs on Ebay and elsewhere. I have owned this car about 7 months and have enjoyed every one of the less than 7500 miles (currently 6942) I have driven it. Almost all of the miles have been on freeways and highways. The car has been garaged since I purchased it, and I do not use it for my work commute (I ride a bike or walk). This car has never been on the track and all of the scheduled maintenance has been performed (two oil changes). This car is as close to factory new condition as you can get. I have owned two Porsches (2001 Supercharged Boxster and 1980 911), a Mini Cooper S modified to 210 whp (2005), all of which were extremely high performing cars but the Subaru is better. It is one of best handling and performing cars I've owned or driven, and is built extremely well. What I personally think Subaru has done with this car is produce a high performance car that retains extremely drivable qualities for everyday driving. This cannot be said for many sports cars on the market. The transmission is amazing, as is described in http://www.driveperformance.subaru.com/version5_1/blueprint.asp. The power is also really impressive, although I will include the Access Port from Cobb Tuning via Rallitek Performance (see http://www.rallitek.com/Accessport-For-Your-Subaru/blog-14) that bumps power to 345 hp. The car is completely stock and the Rallitek map can be removed in about 2 minutes to return the car ECU to stock. The auction is short and the buy it now price very competitive. I reserve the right to sell this car before the auction ends as I am advertising in various locations and sites. Please email me with any questions. The Yakima Rack is not included in the sale. This car is a leased vehicle and I must pay off the residual value of my lease prior to obtaining the pink slip and signing it over (I put a alot of money down and my payoff is less than the starting auction price).
