It has a 302 V8, an automatic transmission (C4), Power steering, a brand new Power Brake Kit, and the rear fenders haven’t been cut out! She has all kinds of new parts, just installed this month. 302 Engine runs good- Engine fires up quick for me. New aluminum radiator. New muffler . 2 barrel carburetor, stock cast iron exhaust manifolds. Stock intake manifold. Dana 44 front axle. Axle gear ratios decode to 3.50 Limited Slip. 4450 GVW (U153) package. New Paint: (June) Exterior trim was removed, then the body was sanded down smooth. Body was primed, blocked, and painted in a nice shade of red urethane. Grill painted silver, as Rangers were when new. Hardtop is painted white and in good shape. New Houndstooth Interior: Original Bronco Rangers came with Houndstooth Interiors. The houndstooth pattern was restitched in this Bronco. The seats in front (factory style buckets with fold and tumble passenger seat) were reupholstered in tan leatherette with houndstooth centers. The doorpanels in the front were made new in matching upholstery. There is a new dash cover. The visors have been recovered. The carpet is brand new and goes from front to rear, including the tailgate and kickpanels. Fortunately, this truck still has a rear seat which has been reupholstered in houndstooth as well. New front armrests that have new upholstery to match. New upholstery on rear armrests. All seat frames were repainted black while they were being reupholstered. There are new replacement side panels in the rear, as Rangers had originally. Original style steering wheel with trim bezel. New chrome and trim: New chrome front bumper, new chrome rear bumper (and all bolts/hardware), new bronco fender emblems, new taillight bezels, new stainless license plate bracket, new FORD grill letters with red trim, new sport side door mirrors on driver and passenger sides, new chrome/stainless hubcaps with red centers. There is also factory trim on the truck. New side marker lamps front and rear (with factory bright trim), new turn signal lenses front with new urethane mounting bases. Factory steel wheels were repainted and installed with new lugnuts (with a new set of 4 chrome hubcaps with new red centers) New upper ball joints, drag link, tie rod, and alignment. Brand new POWER BRAKE SYSTEM included in box, with booster, master cylinder, fittings, clevis, bracket, vacuum line. New lower door weatherstrip. Original Bronco Rangers are definitely one of the most desirable Bronco trim levels around. It seems very clear to me that investing in a Bronco Ranger is a better choice than just purchasing a base model bronco.
