This auction listing was deleted by eBay's automated system because of a minor confusion about the title. As stated before, It has a rebuilt title. I found this car in Clarkson, KY in 1998. Over the past twelve years, I have been restoring it to show quality to attend car shows, cruise-in's and parades. In 2006, I had it completely repainted and a new cloth top installed. At the same time I had all the rubber seals replaced. The paint and body are still in great shape with no rust or dents. There is only touch up paint on the front spoiler where I ran up over a concrete parking block a couple of times. In 2008, I had all new struts and shocks installed and in 2009, I had a set of new tires installed and replaced the radiator. Over the twelve years I have done maintenance on the engine and have had new spark plugs installed. The engine has always run great however recently it started running rough when the engine heated up. I took it to my local Chevrolet dealer thinking it might be a sensor or something inexpensive to replace. They informed me that it needs a new set of fuel injectors. They said that the injectors are cutting off one at a time as the engine warms to operating temperature. I cannot afford to make this repair. I am now 80 years old and I cannot work on this vehicle as I used to. I do not have the physical ability to get in and out of this sports car and attend all these shows as I used to. This is the last of the IROC-Z's with only 1294 convertibles produced this year and it has the 350 engine as well. It could easily be restored if the new owner chooses to do so or could provide many good parts for other cars. It is a good solid car and much of the restoration has already been done for the new owner. The interior has no cuts or cracks and the seats are in good shape. The automatic transmission, brakes and exhaust are in good shape. I am listing this car at a low starting bid with no reserve as it must be sold to the highest bidder. On Jul-15-10 at 11:09:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Note on engine size: I visited the Chevrolet dealer to ask the mechanic who worked on it last, about the engine size since 1990 convertibles came standard with a 305 engine. I told him that over the years since I owned this rebuilt vehicle I was told several times by the previous owner and mechanics that the car had a 350 engine. I asked him what size it was. He said that it was impossible to tell the size visually as the piston size is the only difference. He said that a number on the block would have to be referenced. Due to this I will have to state that the engine size is either a 305 or 350 and you are welcome to send someone to ID the engine by the block reference number. I do not know where this is located or if it is even visible when the engine is installed in the car.
