This truck has unusually solid sheet metal and is a very solid project candidate that has excellent patina. I was planning to keep the patina finish for a while at least. Fenders and running boards are very good and have only the usual dents and cracks but none with rust holes or cancer, and all could be finished as good original metal body parts. The cab is extremely solid, solid floors and corners, no holes rusted through anywhere and no cancer. Doors and hinges are tight close properly and line up straight. Door and windshield regulators are there but no glass in the cab. Have all four wheels, a couple of hub caps and a couple of beauty rings. The bed still has usueable wood under neath. The bed floor is usuable as a rat rod. Bed sides are very smooth and straight and restorable but stake pockets are rusted. Bed front is bowed forward but is restoreable if straightened. The bowed bed front has rubbed a small nickle size hole in the back of the cab. The tailgate is probably not salvageable. Truck has a mint grill with excelent chrome. All good metal around grill and good hood. Have both bumpers and brackets. Have two sets of headlights, two sets of hood sides and Ford 85 emblems, a new wiring harness, tail light, transmission and radiator but no engine. Have a good set of peddles with linkage and master cylinder still with them. Have good set of original seat and seat back springs. The only bad news about this pickup besides the rusty stake pockets is, the small square panel on the passengers side of the bed that connects to the running board is rusty, and the frame needs some patching on the passengers side behind this small square panel. The frame has been repaired on the left front. Other than these spots, this in an exceptionally solid, unrusted restoration or rod candidate. Email me at nv5765@msn.com if you have questions.
