2000 Mercedes-Benz E320 4-Matic sedan in Brilliant Silver with Black leather. The car was originally special ordered with some rare factory options. It is equipped with driver and passenger orthopedic seats, xenon lights, Bose sound with 6 disc changer, heated seats and headlight washers. I had purchased the car two years ago at Mercedes-Benz of Danbury, CT. I had ordered a new Mercedes from them and purchased this car to use when my new one did not arrive on time. We have kept it since and used it as an extra car. The condition of the car is excellent and it runs perfectly. I have maintained the car and kept it garaged under my ownership. The exterior of the car is in great shape. The paint is in excellent condition and shows no signs of fade or dulling. The car has been garaged throughout my ownership and was like a new car when I bought it. There is no rust or dents and it shows like a much newer car. The car was involved in a minor accident under my ownership in which a driver had turned into my lane without looking. We were traveling in the same direction and about the same speed so it only resulted in a minor bending of the front passenger fender and cracked headlamp. The car was repaired at an auto body shop recommended by the dealer in Ridgefield, CT. The quality of work is fantastic, the paint matches perfectly and is indistinguishable from before. Because the right headlight is brand new, the hazing of the left is more visible. I was told that the left should be wet sanded to match the new light and that process is fairly inexpensive. There are some minor dings on the trunk lid. I can see about 4 or 5 that will not show up in the pictures (they are very light and appear to be from acorns) but they are about the only imperfections on the entire exterior of the car, so it is worth mentioning. The rims have some very minor rash consistent with ten years of careful use. The car's exterior is in excellent condition and it shows more like a 4 year old than ten year old car. The interior of the car is also in excellent condition and shows very little wear. The leather is soft and free of any holes or tears. There may be a scratch or two that would separate it from a new one but nothing that stands out in my head. I do not smoke and there was no sign of smoking when I bought it. The wood is in excellent condition with no fading and the carpets are excellent with no stains or dirt. The mats were new when I bought the car. The windshield has no cracks or chips. The orthopedic seats allow the seats to precisely conform to your body like a custom tailored suit. They consist of 5 air bags in the seat that you can individually inflate or deflate to fit. Cosmetically, the interior of the car is very close to new. Mechanically speaking, the cup holder has sprung and is totally broken. It is located in the center console and I have been using it for storage rather than a cup holder since it broke. I believe it is an inexpensive fix but I did not get to it. Also, the trunk release button is cracked at the base and needs a new button. Again, a cheap fix but the trunk can be opened from the key or the trunk itself so I never got around to giving that priority either. Finally, the A/C is not cold. It had been blowing cold until recently where it is not as cold as it used to be. All other functions inside the car work properly. Mechanically the car runs very strong. The engine starts right up and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts very smoothly. There are no leaks in my garage and the car does not burn oil. The 4-Matic functions as it should and makes the car perform very well in snowy or slick conditions. The tires are very recent. The cars computer calls for service B. I have been maintaining it at a Mercedes specialist closer to my office. There are no lights on the dash (ABS, check engine etc.) The car runs and drives very well. It has been a great car for us but unfortunately we no longer have the room or need for it. It really is in great shape and shows better than in the pictures.
